Happy Bastille Day! / Joyeux Quatorze Juillet!
I haven't had a chance to prepare a recipe especially for today, but I have put together a little selection from the recipe index in honour of the occasion. My trip to Paris in January with my eldest son Henry was such an incredible treat, and an amazing opportunity to eat beautiful food. One of the best gifts I have ever recieved was given to me by Henry before we left - a notebook with my From the Kitchen logo on it, and the invitation to use it to record my favourite foodie experiences and ideas for recipes. I have scribbled in that notebook so many times, and re-reading it brings back many wonderful memories. I hope you enjoy some of the recipes that the trip inspired:
